"I absolutely love this AST Jacket! First off I have worn it in temps from 104 Deg.s down to 16 Degs. F. While i will admit it was warm at 104 Deg.s I have worn many other jacketrs and all were much warmer. From Dallas to Huntsvile while it was sleeting and snowing at 16 degs. I did have on a gerbing electric under it and I stayed very dry and very warm. April 13, 2008 I had the unfortunate priveledge on the road and did hit a deer. My wife & I did go down and were Careflighted out. I had 9 broken ribs, puctuerd lung, and broken clavical. I am thouroughly convinced that without this jacket on I would have lost an arm, also would have had road rash all over by body that I would not have recover from yt and this is 4 months later. The jacket and related gear first and foremost saved my life. It also reduced the damaged very signifigantly to the point I was back at work after 2 months. To go down hard and just hve impact damage to my ribs/shoulder with not abrasions is absoulutely Miraculous. Thank you for makeing an affordable jacket that paid for itself many times over in all types of weather and even through accidents. As an officer in our chapter I am a walking bilboard for wearing protective gear. Craig."
